Lawn & Garden: Special Victims Unit
Here's a little video of her relatives telling her story. The guy is maybe a little over dramatic in breaking it down as this sad, tragedy of her not blowing up... but I do kind of relate to that sentiment... There's so many musicians I find out about, where I see all the different stuff they did, and think "what else could they possibly have done, and how was this not enough to make people take notice?" For me, hearing how she was asked to sort of step into Hendrix's shoes and become Billy Cox's new lead guitarist is crazy... To me, it feels like just the fact that that happened should mean she should at least be known as a footnote in rock... regardless of whether the album popped off or not.
